Knoted
For shopping centers & mixed-use properties

Guests tell your team first, instead of telling Google.

A small printed sign in every common space of the property — restrooms, food court, play area, garage — each with its own QR code. A guest scans it and leaves a private note in about ten seconds. No app, no login, no survey. It reaches guest services by email, tagged with the exact space it came from, and nowhere else.

Would rather be shown it than read it? Book a demo. About twenty minutes on a screen share, with whoever on your team should see it.

What is being asked for

Cost
From $499 per property, per month, quoted against the property itself: how many common spaces get a sign, and how much traffic they carry. One number, no per-scan or per-note metering.
Signs
A sign program for up to 15 common-space touchpoints is included with onboarding, in the property's branding. Extra signs are $30 each, anytime, printed and shipped the same way.
Billing
Invoiced on your AP terms, net-30, with W-9 and certificate of insurance in place before kickoff. Card through Stripe if that is simpler. Annual invoice: 12 months for the price of 10.
Term
Month to month by default. No annual contract required, no cancellation fee.
Risk
60-day money-back guarantee, running from the day the signs arrive. Every dollar back, signs included.
Rollout
Signs arrive printed and ready, with the mounting on the back: hidden 3M Command indoors, weather-rated Dual Lock outside. Your team puts them up. No subcontractors, nothing drilled, nobody on the property.

The problem this is for

The guest who hits a dirty restroom or a dark garage level does not find guest services. They finish their errand, and some of them tell Google, or a tenant's staff, or their followers. Guest experience teams get measured on reviews they never saw coming, about problems the ops team would have fixed in an hour if anyone had said something.

The restroom is the review. So is the stroller ramp, the play area, the food court table that never got wiped. A center walks its property on a schedule; guests walk it every hour it is open. This is how you hear from them in the moment, without asking anyone to stop and take a survey.

How it works

  1. Signs go up in the spaces you choose. Restrooms, food court seating, family and play areas, garage levels and elevator lobbies, common seating, nursing rooms, event spaces. Each sign carries its own QR, written for its space.
  2. A guest scans and types. The page opens in their phone browser. No download, no account, no name. They tap a category, write a line, and get back to their day.
  3. Your team gets it, located. The note arrives by email the moment it is sent, tagged with the sign it came from: “Restroom, Level 2, 8:04pm” is already half a work order. It also sits in a searchable inbox that keeps the record and tracks what got done.
  4. Close the loop where it counts. Patterns surface fast — three notes about the same restroom in a day is a staffing problem, not a coincidence — and the record of what was raised and when it was handled is the document your tenant meetings and ownership reports want.

What exists today, and what does not

Knoted is live with small businesses today, not yet with a shopping center, and this page is not going to pretend otherwise. The split is here rather than in a conversation later.

Live today

  • The full product, in every common space
  • Every note tagged to the sign and space it came from
  • Instant email on each note, plus one Monday digest
  • A searchable web inbox: mark done, mark important
  • Email delivery to any address you choose — guest services, ops, or a system's email-ingest address
  • Up to eight categories you write yourself, changeable any time
  • The sign program, printed and shipped with onboarding

Built during the pilot

  • Team access, so guest services and ops each get their own login
  • Per-space routing, so a garage note reaches whoever runs the garage
  • A monthly property report ownership can read in two minutes
  • CSV export of every note, for your reporting stack
  • A webhook to your ops platform or CRM, scoped with your systems team

If any of these is a condition of approval rather than a nice-to-have, say so before anything is signed, and we will talk about timing honestly.

Price

From $499 per property, per month

Quoted against the property: spaces covered and the traffic they carry. A center is not a café, and it is not priced like one.

  • Priced per property, not per scan or per note. Unlimited notes, however busy the season.
  • The sign program for up to 15 common-space touchpoints is included with onboarding, in the property's branding: rigid PVC indoors, aluminum composite with UV laminate outside. Extra signs $30 each, anytime.
  • By invoice on net-30 terms, or by card. Month to month, or 12 months for the price of 10 on an annual invoice.
  • 60-day money-back guarantee from the day the signs arrive, written into the terms, not just said out loud.

For your vendor file

Questions this usually gets

Does an anonymous line just collect junk?

The framing on the sign is built to prevent it: the prompt asks what needs attention or what would make the place better, and the guest picks a category before typing. What arrives is overwhelmingly specific — a stall, a spill, a light — because the sign hangs next to the thing being described. And the complaints that do arrive are the ones you would rather read in an email than under your center's name on Google.

Being straight with you: Knoted is live with small businesses, not yet with a shopping center, so I am not going to quote you a common-area statistic I do not have. That is what the pilot is for, and it is why the term is month to month with the guarantee running the whole time.

Can tenants use it too?

The property subscription covers the common spaces you control. If you want a line per tenant space as well — each storefront with its own sign and its own inbox — that is a portfolio conversation, and a genuinely interesting one: email me.

What does this ask of our staff?

Putting the signs up, and reading email. No restocking, no collecting, nothing to log into unless they want the inbox. If all your team ever does is read the notification emails, they have gotten everything out of it.

Can we pilot one property before the portfolio?

That is the intended shape. One property, 60 days, the guarantee running the whole time, and a review together before the guarantee closes, with a success bar agreed at kickoff. Decide about the rest with real notes from a real property in front of you.

Who you would be dealing with

Christian Vergara, in Coram, New York. I built Knoted, I print the signs, I pack them, and I mail them. Knoted is small and I am not going to pretend otherwise on a page asking a property team for a vendor file: the upside is that when something is wrong you are talking to the person who can change it that day, not a ticket queue. The downside is honest too, which is why the pricing is month to month and the guarantee runs a full sixty days.

The next step

Email me the property — a name and a rough list of common spaces is plenty — and I will come back with a quote and a sign plan within one business day. If you would rather see it working first, book a demo and bring whoever should be on it.

Month to month with the 60-day guarantee, same terms as this page. I reply within one business day.
